The International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The anniversary will be marked by a seminar exploring the role of functioning in health and rehabilitation.
The seminar will address questions such as:
- What is the relationship between functioning and diagnoses?
- How can activity limitations and participation restrictions be assessed?
- And why is functioning an essential health indicator alongside morbidity and mortality?
Through presentations and discussions, the seminar will highlight how the ICF framework continues to influence clinical practice, research, public health, and health policy across sectors and countries.
